All songs: words and music AM. - Paolo Bonfanti, Wings and Wind Music

There are people who have producers and executive producers, I have friends who always believed in my songs. Big time thanks to my old pard Paolo, who brightened them with his genius and has been my first and most faithful fan: always, in time and in time to come;
to Big Gio, who used to play my songs and then worked on these ones with extraordinary competence and love; to Uncle Lou for his kindness, his passion and his big heart: a new pard who’s always been here; to Ciciuxs, for them Sideways, his laughter and cigarette’s pauses.
Special, really special thanks to all the great musicians and friends who helped me through this wonderful journey, Paolo, Giorgio, Rosalba, Alberto, Alessandro, Martino, Massimiliano, Stefano, Tato, and to special guests Bibi, Nicola, Fulvio, Giorgino and Roby: they all gave brighter colours to the pictures I had in mind, and often invented new ones;
thanks to Paolo Bonfanti Band, Rosa Tatuata, Red Wine and the late Fried Chicken.
Thanks, also, to every musician I’ve been lucky to play with: Hocus Pocus, Midwest Pickin’ Enterprise, Paolo “Pai” Pignone (“The Man from the North”) with Lolli, Andrea Gamba (bloodbrother), Alberto Ferrara, Augusto Boschi, Cristina Figallo and Fabrizio Nuovibri. Thanks and a smile, through the years, to Beppe Gambetta and Bambi Fossati, and to Jono Manson for his telephone Surprise.
Thanks to Matteo Bruzzone for the Fender Stratocaster and Massimo Olivieri for the mandolin. I’d also like to mention, for one reason or another: the Traditional Family (mom Caterina, auntie Delfina, little great Federico, Claudia and Ivo);
my Indian Tribe Brothers Alessandro “Doc” Priano (for all informatic technology and grumbling), Marco “Curator” Bariani for musical and enological consulence, Massimo Bariani, with Linda, for pastasciutta tasting, Marco “Scorsese” Abate for photos, videos and poignant things, Ivo ”Billy” Sposaro (for hidden singing and imitations) and Giorgio C. Merega;
my great friend and pard Domenico Gallo with Francesca and Lorenzo “Lebowski”; my accomplice Mattia Carratello, honorary rument; Claudio Asciuti, original rument; Paolo Bononi (since 1973) with Laura; my brother Stefano Tettamanti with deserts’ lover Patrizia plus Laura Grandi, Carlo “Patience” Braga and all the Grandi & Associati Field Team; Franca & Alice Colamartino for being always near even when they’re not;
all Majorana and Spinelli People; young future stars Lea Di Vito and Francesco Lo Prinzi, with Alex Kirilenko; Yuri De Scisciolo and the Cowgirls of the Baita; Gian at Moretti Tavern, via S. Bernardo, GE; Giovanni Leoncini and Truppa; my ghost producer Betta Martinelli; my ghost graphic Fede Soggiu; my once photographer Carla Colliva;
Neil Young (who taught me to play, though he doesn’t know), Philip K. Dick (who taught me to see and, wherever he may be, he knows) and a hundred of musicians and writers who made my world a great place to live in; Kelly Joe Phelps for playing like that and gifting me one verse of “Dust from the Page”; Jack Bauer, Lily Rush & The Cheerleader (everybody knows they exist); all of the other relatives, friends, long resisting fans and occasional or less occasional fellow travellers who still populate my life or my imagination.
A special mention can but go, with affection, to Giancarlo Balduzzi of Disco Club, via S. Vincenzo, GE, who’s selling me records since 1975, who’s trying to keep good music alive in town and who, incidentally, helped this album’s coming to life.
Thanks, also, to Roberto Parodi and Massimo Sobrero for all the demo working in Campomorone, GE.
With unending love, to brothers Alex De Giovannini and Marco Curreri.

To GIULIA, who came and saw me, with her breeze and sun in the eyes
